I'm just a guy that is here in VA working on getting a leg up in the world. I am a nerd at heart, I love my Linux machines and I love painting miniatures. I also enjoy Anime .... man I am a nerd, holy crap.
I have been active at NOVA community college the last few; finishing up my AS in IT and Business administration. I plan on heading to GMU afterwards for my BS in business and a enjoyable job in the government.
Well, thats about it really, nothing too great or exciting but thats "me". I am always up for meeting new people, I just ask that ya treat me the way you want to be treated; ie. don't be a jerk. =)
I stole this quote from a sig I saw but I like it.
Never judge a man till you walked a mile in his shoes, that way if he turns out to be an asshole, your a mile away and you have his shoes.

My favorite Screensaver was ported to Windows, wish I had known this earlier. I found a screensaver on my Debian machine called Substrate and just loved it, it is a amazing abstract screensaver that decorates your screen with line art that looks amazing. Check it out here to get a taste of it in action.

Well if you wanted it to work on Windows you were out of luck, well you were until now. You can download the screensaver and with a quick instal of the Delphi code it'll work in Windows.
tron.lir.dk/software/w_substrate.zip [tron.lir.dk/software/w_substrate.zip] (Screensaver) david-taylor.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/software/runtimes-setup_100.zip [david-taylor.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/software/runtimes-setup_100.zip] (Delphi)
What you do is get those two files, extract them and then install the Delphi binaries and place the w_substrate.scr in the C://windows/system32 folder. Then just load up the screensaver chooser and enjoy the art on your monitor.
